Spencer is getting neutered today...poor thing! On my way to drop him off at the vets this morning I ended up helping a girl out who's car had slid off the road and into the ditch. Roads are very slick today! Poor girl didn't have a cell phone or a coat and was just standing out there in the cold waiting for someone to come to her rescue. Can't believe how many people drove right by without helping...how rude!
Anyways..I get most of the day to be dogless! A bit of a relief, having a dog is like having a 3rd child...a lot of work. So I am taking this time to clean the mudroom from top to bottom, get Spencer's dog bed cleaned so when he comes back the place will be practically sterile..ha! The doc informs me that for a few days Spencer can't get wet( real easy since there's still 20 in of snow on the ground), can't jump or play (have you been around my dog...that's all he does), keep the kids away from him ( yeah tell that to Emil his best bud...)...so it should be an interesting couple of days!
